Almost every Electronic Cigarette (e-cigs) is made of the same types of materials. Their overall physical appearance is determined by the manufacturer, but they are made to mimic either cigarettes, cigars or pipes. Electronic “e” cigarettes have been used by many as a substitute for smoking cigarettes, thereby cutting down on the dangerous side effects while still experiencing the feel of smoking. Some have actually quit smoking altogether with e-cigs as well.
Electronic Cigarettes’ Composition and Use:
Electronic cigarettes are composed of three basic parts – a mouthpiece, providing the nicotine cartridge; a vaporizer, which turns the water into vapor; and a battery. The vaporizer is also called an “atomizer.”
Electronic cigarettes’ vaporizer is used in both the inhalation and exhalation process. When the e-cig user inhales, the vaporizer
produces a dose of nicotine that is put into the body, providing the same “buzz” that regular cigarettes give. The nicotine dosage and flavors are determined by the manufacturer. Once the user exhales, the electronic cigarette produces water vapor into the air.
